Privacy & data handling
What happens to what you type
Your question is sent to Anthropic, which runs the model that writes the answer, and it is saved in two places on our side: your own conversation history, and an internal log we read to find questions the assistant handled badly. It is never sent to an advertiser, and our analytics never receives the text of it. The rest of this page is the detail.
Your account and where your data lives
Using the assistant requires an account. We store your account details, your usage of the assistant, and the business context you provide, in a database hosted in the United States.
Your question is stored twice
Once in your conversation history — the thread you can scroll back through — and once in an internal log we use to find and improve weak answers. Both copies hold your question and the assistant's answer.
What leaves your device
To produce an answer, what you type and the context of your conversation are sent to Anthropic's API, which runs the Claude model that writes the answer. The assistant may also run a web search to check a figure that changes year to year, handled the same way — inside Anthropic's API, not by us. Anthropic states that it does not use API inputs to train its models by default — that is their published position, which we are repeating rather than auditing.
Analytics: what we track, and what we don't
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the product is used — things like how often a question is asked or when checkout starts. The one rule that matters: no analytics event ever carries the text of a question or the text of an answer. The event that fires when you ask a question, for example, records only how many characters long it was — never the words themselves.
How we use your questions
We store your questions and the assistant's answers to run the service — your history, your billing, and support — and we read them ourselves to improve the assistant's accuracy and coverage; seeing where it had to decline shows us which topics to strengthen with verified law. So yes: a person here may read what you typed. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Two different answers, because there are two copies. The internal quality log is deleted automatically after about six months. Your conversation history is not — nothing expires it, and it stays until you delete it or ask us to. An earlier version of this page said stored questions and answers were deleted after about six months. That was true only of the internal log, never of your own conversation history.
Getting a copy, or getting it deleted
Email maggievinas@outlook.com and ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted. A person does this by hand — there is no delete button in the product and no automatic export — so allow a little time. Signing out does not delete anything.
What is kept in this browser
This browser remembers a sign-in session and a few preferences and recent activity, so the tool resumes where you left off. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking technology of any kind on this site. Clearing your browser data removes those local copies; it does not remove anything from our database.
How it is protected, and what we do not claim
The site is served over HTTPS, and your account's data is kept isolated from every other account's. That is the whole of what we can honestly claim. We hold no formal compliance certifications and have not signed a data-processing agreement, and we have not committed to a breach-notification window. If your organization requires any of those, this is not the right place to type the question you were about to type.
Keep questions anonymized — not privileged
Conversations with this tool are not attorney–client privileged and could be discoverable. Because questions are stored, please keep them general and anonymized — do not paste employee names, Social Security numbers, medical details, or privileged investigation content.
No legal relationship
Using this tool creates no attorney–client relationship. It provides general HR information, not legal advice. This page forms part of our terms of use.
