Privacy & data handling

Your account & where your data lives

Using the assistant requires a free account. Your email, your plan and remaining-answer balance, and the questions you ask along with the assistant's answers are stored securely in our database (hosted on Supabase). Your employer context (size, locality, year) and recent conversation also stay in this browser's local storage so the tool can pick up where you left off.

What leaves your device

To produce an answer, your question, your employer context, and recent turns are sent to Anthropic's API, which runs the Claude model that writes the answer. The assistant may also run a web search to verify a figure that changes year to year; that search runs as a hosted tool inside Anthropic's API rather than being passed by us to a separate search company. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default.

How we use your questions

We store your questions and the assistant's answers to run the service (your history, billing, and support) and to improve the assistant's accuracy and coverage — in particular, seeing where it had to decline shows us which topics to strengthen with verified law. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Stored questions and answers are automatically deleted after about six months. Your account details are kept while your account is active.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, or to delete it, at any time — email maggievinas@outlook.com.

Keep questions anonymized — not privileged

Conversations with this tool are not attorney–client privileged and could be discoverable. Because questions are stored, please keep them general and anonymized — do not paste employee names, Social Security numbers, medical details, or privileged investigation content.

No legal relationship
